Human Centered Design - Self Direction Services

The concept was to create an Identity for Self-Direction.

Self-Direction is a Medicaid waiver program outlined on the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) website. This is an up-and-coming program that is rapidly gaining attention within the developmentally disabled population. This program gives individuals the opportunity to participate in a variety of classes and programs that are open to all, not specifically for the special-needs population. Self-Direction involves a lot of information that can be overwhelming for families. I wanted to create an inviting yet informative navigation system for families who are interested in starting the process of Self-Direction.
