Hoboken Shelter Re-Branding

Having worked at a non-profit and done a great deal of volunteer work, I have seen how hard it can be to build awareness in a community and get people to consistently donate their time or efforts to a cause. I have volunteered at The Hoboken Sheltermany times, and have seen the great services it provides. However, I don’t think it gets the attention it deserves.

In redesigning the shelter, I hope to bring awareness to the organization and ensure that volunteer opportunities are tailored to the individual volunteer--the idea being that someone can use their unique talents to make a difference. Also, changing the name of the organization from The Hoboken Shelter to Hoboken Helping Hand has added a more human touch.
