Fusion: Cross Culture Palate

Fusion: Cross Culture Palate explores a cross-culture identity through food. Growing up as a third culture person, there has always been a struggle with identity and belonging. Food has always been a common ground when it came to connecting with both cultures. This book is a visual comparison of two of my identities of being Taiwanese and Thai. The book will cover topics from historical influences, culture, most memorable recipes, and dining traditions. In addition, I wanted to sprinkle my mom’s essence throughout the book as she has been the driving force in our family when it comes to the kitchen and gathering to break bread.
