Ivory Phantasms and Alien Pleasures

Inspired by the Welsh term *hiraeth*—a deep, melancholic longing or homesickness for a place, person, or time that may not exist or is no longer within reach—Ivory Phantasms and Alien Pleasures traces the cyclical nature of desire and illusion: how our efforts to satisfy our longings blur the thresh (...)

Love as a Verb

We all have different meanings for love, shaped by our culture, family, relationships, and experiences. My grandparents, for instance, express love through actions rather than words. My grandpa would pick me up from school, while my grandma would make sure I had eaten or cut some fruits for me. Whi (...)
